The trade delegation program organized in Muscat, Oman in the construction materials sector on 24-28 March 2019, with the coordination of the Eastern Anatolia Exporters Union and the organization of Shedu Consulting, was successfully completed.
As planned, the delegation, which arrived in Muscat on 25 March 2019 with a THY scheduled flight, made its first official visit to T.R. He made it to the Muscat Embassy. The members of the delegation, received by the Ambassador of Muscat, Ayşe Sözen Usluer, were given detailed information on the Oman economy, bilateral trade and economic relations. Usluer, who supported all the preparations for the trade delegation program, closely followed and supported the entire program of the delegation from the moment it landed at Muscat airport until its departure, and took the initiative to increase the participation in bilateral business meetings, thanks to the close attention he showed within the scope of the delegation program. Expressing his gratitude for the devoted work he has shown so far for the development of commercial and economic relations between Turkey and Oman, Mr. Tanrıver presented a gift to our Ambassador in memory of the day on behalf of the delegation.
The interest of local companies in the organization of bilateral business meetings held at the Grand Hyatt Muscat Hotel on March 26, 2019 was high. More than 200 bilateral business meetings were held at the event, in which nearly 70 Omani companies participated in total.
On March 27, 2019, the first official visit was made to the Oman Chamber of Commerce and Industry. The delegation led by DAIB Chairman of the Board of Directors, Mr. Tanrıver, received by Abdul Adheem Abbas Al-Bahrani, CEO of Oman Chamber of Commerce and Industry, expressed their gratitude to Mr. Al-Bahrani for their support within the scope of the trade delegation.
