The trade delegation organized in the food sector for Basra on March 10-12, 2018, under the coordination of the Mediterranean Fisheries and Animal Products Exporters' Association and under the organization of Shedu Consulting, was successfully completed. The companies participating in the delegation held more than 150 bilateral business meetings with Iraqi companies in two separate bilateral business meetings held on March 11, 2018. These meetings held by the members of the delegation were extremely productive, and almost all of the members of the delegation achieved tangible results from the program of the delegation.
The trade delegation headed by the President of ASHİB, Mr. Ali Can Yamanyılmaz, arrived in Basra on 10 March 2018 with a THY scheduled flight. On the same date, the Asher region, where Basra dry food wholesalers come together, was visited. The members of the delegation, who received valuable information about food prices and distribution channels, also distributed invitations for the bilateral meetings to be held the next day.
